Key Responsibilities
Develop 2D and 3D mechanical models using CAD software.
Design mechanical components, assemblies, sheet metal, and plastic parts based on customer and project requirements.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Create 3D models, exploded views, and assembly documentation.
Perform design modifications based on engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
Apply GD&T; principles and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and design validation.
Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams for manufacturability.
Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.
Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
Maintain design documentation, revision history, and project records.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions to engineering challenges.
Deliver projects within defined timelines and quality standards.
