Perform MRI scans safely and accurately as per prescribed protocols
Screen patients for MRI contraindications (implants, metal objects, etc.)
Position patients appropriately and ensure comfort during procedures
Handle contrast administration as per protocol (where applicable)
Maintain MRI safety zones and compliance with MRI safety standards
Perform daily QA checks and basic troubleshooting of MRI equipment
Operate CT scanner for routine and contrast studies
Prepare patients for CT procedures including IV contrast coordination
Ensure radiation safety and dose optimization
Perform image reconstruction and basic post-processing
Carry out portable and fixed X-ray procedures
Assist surgeons during OT procedures using C-Arm imaging
Ensure correct positioning, exposure settings, and image quality
Maintain radiation protection for staff and patients
Perform daily equipment checks and report faults immediately
Maintain imaging records and documentation
Support NABH / AERB compliance and audits
Follow SOPs, safety protocols,
and radiation protection guidelines
Coordinate with Radiologists for protocols and reporting priorities
Upload images to PACS/RIS and ensure proper patient tagging
Maintain logs for contrast usage, radiation exposure, and equipment uptime
Hands-on experience in MRI + CT + X-ray + C-Arm
Robust understanding of radiation safety and MRI safety
Ability to handle OT imaging independently
Patient handling skills (including oncology / critical patients)
Basic computer skills (PACS/RIS/HIS)
Calm under pressure — imaging doesn’t wait, emergencies don’t announce themselves
Qualifications Education: Diploma or Bachelors in Medical Imaging Technology / Radiographer Registration: Must have Elora Registration
Experience: Min 2 years of independently handling MRI. Must also know to work on CT, X ray, and C-Arm.
