Job Role & Responsibilities

*Food Preparation Support

*Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.

Assist chefs in preparing:

Sandwiches

Wraps

Burgers

Pizzas

Pasta

Salads

Desserts

Beverages

Other caf menu items

*Kitchen Cleaning & Maintenance

*Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, equipment, and workstations.

*Keep the kitchen, storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers clean and organized.

*Dispose of kitchen waste following hygiene and food safety standards.

*Inventory & Stock Management

*Receive, check, and properly store raw materials and supplies using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

*Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor.





*Support inventory counts and stock organization.

*Food Safety & Compliance

*Ensure compliance with FSSAI food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation guidelines.

*Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper use of gloves, aprons, and hairnets.

*Operational Support

*Assist during peak hours to ensure quick order preparation.

*Handle kitchen equipment carefully and report any faults immediately.

*Perform any additional kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef.
