Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sea Freight Operations Executive with hands*on experience in handling FCL and LCL shipments (both import and export).
The candidate will be responsible for endtoend sea freight operations, coordinating with shipping lines, freight agents and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle endtoend sea freight operations for both import and export shipments (FCL LCL).
Coordinate with shipping lines for space bookings, schedule confirmations and freight negotiations.
Process and verify all shipping documentation Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, LC documents and other trade documents.
Liaise with CFS, ICD, ports and inland container depots for cargo movement.
Coordinate customs clearance activities with the in*house customs brokerage team.
Track shipments and provide regular, proactive status updates to clients.
Handle demurrage, detention and port*related issues promptly.
Prepare freight cost calculations, quotations and invoices for clients.
Maintain MIS reports and shipment records accurately.
Ensure all operations comply with DGFT, Customs and port regulations.
