Position: Plant Head – Food Manufacturing

Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad

Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG

Experience: 6 years in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head or Senior Production Leadership role.

Education
MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Food Technology, or a related engineering discipline preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Dispatch.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
Implement and monitor GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
Optimize manpower utilization and improve operational efficiency.
Prepare production plans in coordination with Sales, Purchase, and Supply Chain teams.
Monitor plant KPIs such as OEE, wastage, downtime, yield, and production efficiency.
Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and minimize breakdowns.
Manage statutory compliance related to factory operations.




Develop and mentor production teams and department heads.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with all company policies.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
Advanced Production Planning and Operations Management.
Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma concepts.
ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.).
Advanced Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting.
Robust leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
