Role & responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain Puppet modules, manifests, roles, and profiles.
Manage Hiera data, node classification, and workplace configurations.
Perform code reviews, testing, deployment, and rollback activities through Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot Puppet agent failures, catalogue compilation issues, certificate problems, and deployment failures.
Monitor Puppet platform health, agent compliance, configuration drift, and server performance.
Support release management, patching, upgrades, and security remediation activities.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
Participate in incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
Coordinate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Application teams for automation initiatives.
Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure automation and compliance enforcement.
