Role & responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
Identify and evaluate suppliers for mechanical components, raw materials, and equipment.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
Vendor Management
Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Conduct vendor audits and assessments when required

3.Technical Coordination -Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications.

-Ensure purchased items meet mechanical design and quality requirements.





-Provide technical support in resolving procurement-related issues.
Cost & Inventory Control

-Analyze market trends to achieve cost savings. -Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

-Track and report procurement KPIs (cost, quality, delivery timelines).

Qualification of the requisition:
Position Title: Purchase Engineer
Required Skills: Vendor Development, Material sourcing, SAP ERP knowledge, Negotiation and communication skills
Experience Level : 02 TO 04 Years
Education : B.E MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL
