Role & responsibilities
Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from vendors.
Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.
Issue Purchase Orders and follow up for timely deliveries.
Coordinate with project teams for material requirements and site consumables.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
Track material dispatches, logistics and pending deliveries.
Maintain procurement records, vendor database and purchase MIS.
Support cost optimization through effective vendor negotiations

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
26 years of experience in procurement/purchase for Electrical EPC, Industrial Projects or MEP.
Knowledge of electrical materials such as cables, cable trays, switchgear, panels, transformers, instrumentation, earthing materials, etc.
Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
