Role Description The Quality Controller will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting ready-mix concrete production to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include sampling and testing materials, documenting quality results, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective actions with production teams. The role also involves maintaining quality records, supporting audits, providing feedback to improve processes, and collaborating with operations to prevent recurring issues.

This is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Chennai Area,



requiring close coordination with plant staff, laboratory personnel, and site teams.

Qualifications Solid Quality Control skills, including inspection, testing, and monitoring of ready-mix concrete.

Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with the ability to implement and maintain quality systems and procedures.

Auditing skills to support internal and external audits and verify compliance with standards and regulations.

Training capabilities to guide and coach team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Knowledge of concrete technology, materials, and mix design, preferably in ready-mix operations.

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, standards, and construction drawings.

Solid analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, logistics, and site teams.

Relevant technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience in a quality-related role within the construction or ready-mix industry is an advantage.
