About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Controller to join our Prepress Books team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in publishing workflows and quality assurance processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet client specifications, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed quality checks on typeset books, journals, and academic content.

Review layouts, formatting, typography, and page elements for accuracy and consistency.

Ensure compliance with client specifications, style guides, and project requirements.

Identify, document, and resolve quality issues before final delivery.

Verify content accuracy, cross-references, tables, figures, images, and metadata.





Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely correction of errors.

Provide constructive feedback to team members and support continuous process improvement.

Maintain quality records and prepare quality reports as required.

Required Skills

3–17 years of experience in the Publishing Industry with end-to-end production knowledge.

Strong experience in Academic, K-12 Books, and Journal Production.

Excellent proofreading and quality assurance skills.

Robust understanding of typography, page layout, and print production processes.

Ability to review typeset documents meticulously and identify inconsistencies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to understand and interpret client requirements and special instructions.

Robust analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
