Role Description The Reenactment Advisor role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting hotels and hospitality venues in planning and refining reenactment-themed events and guest experiences. Daily tasks include researching historical or cultural themes, advising on authentic concepts for reenactment activities, and preparing transparent guidelines and briefs for hotel event teams.

The Reenactment

Advisor collaborates with marketing and operations staff to ensure events are engaging, accurate, and aligned with brand standards, while considering guest safety and comfort. The role also involves reviewing event plans, providing recommendations for costumes, scripts, and staging, and documenting best practices and lessons learned for future initiatives. The advisor participates in virtual meetings with hotel partners, delivers feedback on proposed concepts, and may assist in training staff on how to present reenactment content in a respectful and inclusive way.

Qualifications
Solid research and advisory skills,



with the ability to analyze historical or cultural themes and translate them into clear recommendations for hospitality events.
Experience in event planning, cultural programming, or storytelling, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or arts sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise briefs, guidelines, and training materials for diverse teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part time hours effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones.
Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, attention to detail, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory guest experiences.
Comfort with basic digital tools and online collaboration platforms (e.g., email, video conferencing, shared documents).
Relevant academic background in history, cultural studies, tourism, hospitality management, performing arts, or a related field is beneficial.
Prior experience in the Middle East or international hospitality settings is an advantage but not required.
