Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver transdisciplinary lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
Guide inquiry-based learning and facilitate Units of Inquiry across multiple subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc.).
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom workplace.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners and learning styles.
Regularly assess and document student learning, using formative and summative strategies.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Participate in collaborative planning sessions with other grade-level and specialist teachers.
Maintain up-to-date student portfolios and contribute to report cards and parent-teacher conferences.
Uphold and model the IB Learner Profile and PYP philosophy.
Engage in continuous career development and IB training.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.
Teaching certification/license.
2+ years of experience in early/primary education.
Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using educational technology for blended learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
IB-certified PYP training/workshops completed.
Experience teaching in an IB or international school workplace.
Ability to integrate arts, technology, or additional languages into classroom activities.
Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners.
