Role Description The Quality Inspector is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The role involves performing daily inspections of components and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and specifications, using measurement tools and inspection equipment, recording inspection results, and reporting non-conformities in a clear and timely manner.

The Quality

Inspector collaborates with production and engineering teams to address quality issues, supports root-cause analysis,



and participates in corrective and preventive actions. The role also includes maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and quality procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications
Solid understanding of quality inspection processes, manufacturing workflows, and basic quality control principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Proficiency in using measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and standard inspection tools.
Attention to detail, positive documentation practices, and ability to accurately record inspection data.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Basic computer skills for using spreadsheets, quality reports, and documentation systems.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in automotive or manufacturing quality inspection is preferred; familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards is an advantage.
