Job Summary To oversee and streamline our procurement operations across India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management, with a proven ability to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, and optimize costs. This leadership role demands solid analytical skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to work crossfunctionally to support operational excellence.

The position plays a crucial role in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality services across all logistics categories, including air, ocean, land trasportation, and warehousing. Responsibility
Develop and implement a national procurement strategy aligned with company goals & Policy
Drive category management and sourcing initiatives to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Monitor and forecast procurement needs in alignment with operational demands
Identify, evaluate, and onboard freight, transport, and logistics vendors.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with carriers and service providers.
Maintain a robust vendor database and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Analyze market trends and spend patterns to drive cost efficiencies.
Lead RFP/RFQ processes and conduct rate benchmarking.




Collaborate with finance to manage procurement budgets and report savings.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and industry regulations.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure contract compliance.
Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory checks.
Lead, train, and develop a team of regional and local procurement professionals.
Collaborate closely with HQ, BD & Sales, operations, legal, finance, and customer service departments to align procurement with business goals Qualification and Experience Required
Minimum: Graduation / Diploma (if very relevant industry experience) ，Desired: MBA/ Master’s degree or equivalent
8–12 years of relevant experience in procurement within freight forwarding or logistics.
In-depth knowledge of transport, warehousing, customs brokerage, and international freight.
Speaking knowledge of Hindi and English.
Valuable in MIS & Reports
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Robust communication and organizational skills and knowledge of excel.
Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP tools (SAP, etc.). Location
