Your Recent Role

We are seeking an experienced G20 Regulatory SME (Lead / AVP) to support NAB's Global Regulatory Operations team in analysing complex regulatory reporting requirements and providing guidance to Operations and Technology teams in meeting those obligations.

Responsibilities
Regulatory Navigation:
Work on the Regulatory Reporting engine to identify trades reported to DTCC for CFTC, EMIR, MAS, ASIC regulations by downloading ACK, NACK, and Fail reports.
Manage DTCC submission activities including Trade state and valuation reports.
Handle exceptions in trade and transaction reporting, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy.
Navigate various regulations including EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, MAS, CFTC, SEC, SFTR across multiple asset classes: FX, IR, Commodity, Equity, Credit, Collateral, Valuation.
Issue Resolution:
Identify under-reporting, over-reporting, incorrect reporting, and match differences.
Reconcile data between DTCC position reports and system extracts to identify position and intraday breaks.
Ensure that Real-Time RT and Confirmations are reported to DTCC within stipulated timeframes.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
Identify potential product defects,



providing detailed feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with business users on service requests, investigating business logic and application behavior.
Data Analysis:
Conduct Root Cause Analysis, analyzing workflow failures.Track and update

What Will You Bring
Experience in regulatory reporting, Transaction reporting/Non-financial reporting and capital markets.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Deep technical understanding of the G20 OTC Derivatives regulatory requirements across regimes such as CFTC, ASIC, EMIR, MIFID and SFTR.
Solid experience in a bank or financial services workplace working with the OTC derivatives suite of products.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven experience in reporting exception management and triage.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership engagement.
