Contract Duration: 2 to 3 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)

Role & responsibilities

We are hiring Python Backend Engineers for an exciting frontier AI data initiative with a leading US-based Data & AI company. This is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI infrastructure and training data development while working with a globally distributed engineering team.
Build Python backend applications that replicate popular SaaS platforms such as Slack, Jira, Linear, Notion, Gmail, and Wikis.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
Perform backend testing, integration validation, and quality assurance.
Build recent connectors and enhance existing integrations.




Mine data and workflows to create realistic AI training tasks.
Validate data quality and develop evaluation rubrics.
Collaborate with engineering teams using AI coding assistants throughout development and testing.
Participate in onboarding, calibration, and quality review cycles.

Preferred candidate profile .

Required Skills(Mandatory)
Minimum 3+ years of software engineering experience.
Robust expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django), hands-on experience with Docker and Dockerization.
Experience building backend applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
Strong understanding of Git, version control, testing, and software engineering best practices.
Proficiency with Claude / Claude Code (mandatory).
Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.
