Job Title: Python Data Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 5 8 Years Employment Type: Full time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Python Data Engineer (Django) to join our AML Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Python, Django, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL development, and Data Engineering. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, developing data processing solutions, automating ETL workflows, and supporting AML data platforms within the Banking domain.

Experience in Corporate Banking, AML Compliance, and Data Warehousing is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Django.

Develop ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and processing.

Write optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for high-volume data processing.

Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design specifications.

Develop and automate data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring processes.

Build reusable Python modules and APIs using Django where required.





Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, QA, and cross-functional teams.

Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Implement DevOps best practices for CI/CD and automated deployments.

Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance with AML regulatory standards.

Support release management and troubleshoot production issues.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Python Development/Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django Framework.

Solid expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development and data transformation.

Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Data Mapping.

Experience with REST APIs and backend development using Django.

Hands-on experience with Git and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
