About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer with 57 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation tools, a valuable understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders. This role focuses on building and executing automated tests, reducing manual testing efforts, and contributing to overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Skills and qualifications (mandatory):

Automation Development & Execution
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems
Execute automated test cases and analyze test results
Convert manual test cases into automation to improve regression coverage
Assist in identifying areas suitable for automation

Framework Contribution
Work within existing automation frameworks and contribute to improvements
Follow established coding standards and QA best practices
Ensure test scripts are maintainable and reusable





CI/CD & Testing Support
Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Run automated tests as part of build and release cycles

Skills and qualifications (preferred):
57 years of experience in QA with exposure to automation
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
Basic to positive programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
Experience with Git or similar version control systems
Understanding of QA concepts, test design, and defect lifecycle
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with AI agents or AI-driven testing tools to improve QA efficiency is a plus
