Role Description The Python Scratch & ML Mentor is a full time remote role focused on teaching and mentoring learners in Python programming, Scratch-based visual coding, and introductory machine learning concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering live online classes, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and adapting instruction to different age groups and skill levels. The mentor will provide clear explanations of core programming and ML concepts, assess learner progress, give constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of performance.

Additional tasks include collaborating with curriculum designers to refine course materials,



communicating with parents or guardians as needed, and contributing to a positive and inclusive online classroom environment.

Qualifications Strong proficiency in Python programming and experience teaching or mentoring learners in coding fundamentals.

Experience with Scratch or similar block-based coding platforms for younger learners.

Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and ability to explain them in age-appropriate, accessible ways.

Prior experience in online teaching, tutoring, or mentoring children and adolescents in STEM subjects.

Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging teaching style.

Ability to design or adapt engaging, project-based lessons and activities that foster logical reasoning and computational thinking.

Reliable internet connection, comfort with edtech tools and video conferencing platforms, and robust time-management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
