Role: SAP BODS Administrator

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS Administrator with strong hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) environments.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain SAP BODS environments.
Manage and monitor BODS Job Servers and related services.
Create, configure, and maintain BODS repositories.
Manage Local and Central Repositories and ensure proper connectivity.
Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot BODS jobs using the Data Services Management Console.
Monitor job execution, failures, schedules, and system performance.
Troubleshoot issues related to BODS services, Job Servers, repositories, and scheduled jobs.
Perform routine system maintenance, service restarts, and environment health checks.
Support BODS workplace migrations, upgrades, and configuration changes.




Monitor system availability and ensure smooth operation of BODS environments.
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and functional teams for issue resolution.
Maintain technical documentation and follow standard administration and support procedures.

Required Skills
5–7 years of experience in SAP BODS Administration.
Robust hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Good knowledge of BODS installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Strong understanding of BODS Repository creation and management.
Good knowledge of BODS Job Server configuration and administration.
Experience with Data Services Management Console.
Experience in job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of BODS services and setting management.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
