Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of accurate financial records.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare financial statements, monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role also includes coordinating with internal departments, assisting with audits, improving financial processes, and providing financial insights to support management decisions.





Qualifications

Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including working with ledgers, reconciliations, and financial analysis tools.

Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and monthly closing activities.

Attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Prior experience in a manufacturing, food, or retail environment is beneficial.
