Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain Spark applications in Scala to process high-volume datasets efficiently.
Build, tune and troubleshoot batch and streaming data pipelines, ensuring consistent performance at scale.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects and product teams to deliver robust, production-ready data solutions within an agile delivery model.
Support testing, deployment and operational readiness, applying CI/CD, version control and sound engineering practices.
Produce explicit technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to permanent engineering teams.

Essential

Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on development experience with Java, Apache Spark and Scala.
Solid grasp of distributed data processing principles, pipeline design, and ETL/ELT methodologies, with a track record of performance optimization.
Domain knowledge of Telecom OSS Network Monitoring and assurance • Exposure to big data platforms such as Hadoop, Cloudera, AWS or GCP is desirable.
Working knowledge of Kafka, SQL, Python, Git and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) is advantageous.
