3–5 years of qualified Python development experience
Robust experience with FastAPI (or similar — Flask/Django) building production REST APIs
Solid knowledge of SQLAlchemy and relational database design (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema migrations (Alembic or equivalent)
Familiarity with Pydantic (v2 preferred) or similar data validation libraries
Working knowledge of React — able to build/modify components, manage state, and call APIs (does not need to be expert-level)
Comfort with HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals and a contemporary build tool (Vite/Webpack)
Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth2/OIDC)
Experience writing automated tests (pytest; basic frontend testing a plus)
Git-based workflows and strong code review discipline — comfortable rigorously reviewing both human- and AI-generated code
Hands-on experience working with AI coding assistants (e.g.,
Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as part of a real development workflow
Experience with cloud services (AWS or equivalent) for async/event-based processing
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
Exposure to privacy, compliance, or data governance domains (GDPR, CCPA, or similar)
Prior experience in a compliance, legal-tech, or security product company
Quick learner — comfortable picking up new concepts, tools, or codebases with minimal ramp-up
Understanding of the privacy/data-protection domain (e.g., consent management, DSR, data governance concepts)
Prototyping expertise — able to quickly build proof-of-concept features or spikes to validate ideas before full implementation
