Pet Groomer – Bath & Haircut | Pet Clinic

Role: Responsible for complete grooming services including bathing, drying, hygiene care, haircuts, and styling for pets while ensuring safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
Bathing & Hygiene: Bath pets using appropriate shampoos/conditioners, blow-dry, brush, and de-shed coats

Basic Care: Clean ears, trim nails, check skin/coat condition and report abnormalities to vet/staff

Haircuts & Styling: Perform breed-specific cuts, trimming, and styling based on owner requests or breed standards

Pet Handling: Safely handle all breeds/sizes, including anxious pets, using proper restraint techniques

Sanitation: Clean and sanitize tubs, tables, tools, and equipment after each use

Customer Service: Consult with pet owners on grooming styles, coat maintenance, and after-care

Support:



Maintain a calm setting and assist clinic team when needed

Requirements:Prior experience in pet bathing and haircutting preferred
Knowledge of breed-specific cuts, pet-safe products, and basic skin conditions
Patient, pet-friendly attitude with positive handling skills
Physically fit to lift pets, stand for long hours, and work in wet setting
Certification in pet grooming is an added advantage

Willing to work in shifts/weekends
Location: Anywhere in Chennai

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Experience:
Haircut or Bath Groomer: 3 years (Preferred)
