A well-reputed law firm is looking to hire a Real Estate Partner with 9–12 years of post-qualification experience for its Mumbai office. The firm is open to considering candidates with a solid execution background. While an existing book of business is preferred, it is not mandatory for exceptional candidates who have demonstrated expertise in handling complex real estate transactions and advising high-value clients. This is an excellent chance for lawyers looking to take on a leadership role within a growing Real Estate practice and work on sophisticated, high-value mandates.

Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects.
Lead title due diligence exercises and prepare detailed title investigation reports.
Structure, draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, joint development agreements, conveyance deeds, and related documentation.
Advise on land acquisition, regulatory approvals, RERA compliance, and property-related laws.
Handle real estate aspects of M&A;, private equity, financing, and infrastructure transactions.




Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal and commercial advice.
Mentor junior lawyers and lead transaction teams from inception to closing.
Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the practice.

Candidate Profile
9–12 years of post-qualification experience in Real Estate practice.
Strong experience in real estate transactions, title due diligence, and documentation.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills.
Proven ability to independently manage complex matters and client relationships.
Candidates with a solid execution background are encouraged to apply.
An existing book of business is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.
