How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The purpose of this position is to ensure proper function, reliability, safety and maintenance of electrical equipment installed within the facility including provision of hands on support. He/She ensures that tests and inspections of electrical equipment are conducted and documented according to local laws, mandatory regulations and Air Liquide group standards. Reports and investigates all electrical equipment failures and maintenance issues, and ensures that preventive and corrective actions are timely decided and completed as well as the availability of necessary spare parts. Leads and develops Electrician by ensuring training, coaching and qualification to constantly improve performance, and safe work environment. In addition, he/she will fulfill the duties related to GMP, FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environment Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 50001 energy management system, business continuity Management System, Seveso (prevention of major accidents) requirements.
1. Ensures HSE respect
Implements the basic rules of plant safety (including: lock out, work permit, regular safety routes, ...) Ensures that safety is always considered as a priority Is regularly on the field to check the application of safety rules. Leads by personal example Participates in incidents analysis, treatment and reporting, and ensures action plan is implemented for his/her perimeter of responsibility. Participate in accident analyze (RCA) Ensures that MOC process is applied and used for plants modifications.
2. Operation of the Plant
Provides technical support for electrical equipment installed higher than 1000 V as well as 400 V and lower within the all facilities. High Voltage (HV) Electrical Power Installations responsibility for facilities operation is undertaken within the framework of the Regulation, operating personnel training, the preparation of maneuvering instructions, security measures, failures that occur during operation (on-call) and the necessary maneuvers to intervention. Contributes to the development,
improvement and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and provides internal training to the field personnel concerning electrical equipment with regards to best practices in terms of control philosophies, operation and maintenance. Assists in the development of control strategies and narratives for implementation. Specifies, sources and selects instruments, evaluates and selects suppliers and consultants for production and project needs.
3. Maintenance of the Plant
Plans and manages preventive maintenance and general turnover of electrical equipment together with specialists and engineers from other fields and contractors. Contributes to the preparation of the annual budget for operation, maintenance, repair, and renewal of the electrical equipment, and ensures availability of necessary spare parts. Assists in the development of control strategies and narratives for implementation. Specifies, sources and selects instruments, evaluates and selects suppliers and consultants for production and project needs. Provides input for new projects as required. Champion new initiatives of automation, control and design for reliability. Transparently reports all equipment failures and maintenance issues to the Plant Manager, investigates root cause of failures, ensures that corrective measures are decided timely and respective action plans are followed, and maintains documentation of electrical equipment. Gives technical support to National Installation Manager for on-site facilities. Visits the customer facilities within a limited area with the experts to identify installation requirements if required. Supports maintenance team during inspections, repairs or replacement of instruments and automation systems (such as pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow measurement devices, analysers, level transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, DCS, PLC etc.) by using his knowledge, background and previous experiences on automation and instrumentation.
4. Ensures administrative follow-up
Fills necessary forms to monitor power consumptions and works with the operation team to improve the efficiency of the plant. Follows administrative and security rules of the plant.
5. Process improvement
Works in cooperation with the other team members and cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.
Analyses his/her activity, identifies causes of problems and proposes adapted corrective actions. Maintain knowledge of current operational issues and actively participate in operational discussion.
