About the role
Job Summary
The Sr. Procurement Officer is responsible for managing procurement activities including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to support business operations. This role ensures compliance with procurement policies and contributes to cost optimization and supplier performance. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.

Job location: Navi Mumbai / Coimbatore

Main accountabilities and tasks:
• Implement Just-in-Time principles to ensure timely supply of all materials required for complete facility project manufacturing.
• Negotiate optimal pricing and commercial terms to secure cost-effective component supply and maximize profitability.
• Support tendering and sales teams by providing competitive quotations that strengthen pricing and delivery advantages.




• Monitor and follow up on placed orders to guarantee on-time delivery from external suppliers.
• Proactively address and resolve issues related to import/export processes in coordination with the logistics team.
• Establish supply agreements with key suppliers to secure preferential pricing and delivery commitments.
• Review and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure efficient inventory management on-site.

Desired experience and qualifications:
• Work experience: 7 to 10 years
• Expertise: Buyer & Expediting
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical /Production
• Languages: English / Tamil / Hindi
• Soft skills: MS office, SAP & MIS reporting
• Other: Sound/ In-depth experience in casting, Machining areas
