Job Summary
Job Description – QA Engineer (API & Mobile Testing)

Role Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer who can work on API testing, mobile app validation, and automation. The role requires good understanding of agile practices and solid knowledge of testing processes.

Responsibilities
• Test APIs and mobile apps for functionality, performance, and stability.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Rest Assured, Playwright API, or similar tools.
• Support mobile automation using Appium or other frameworks
• Review requirements and prepare test scenarios, cases, and reports.
• Work closely with developers and product teams in an agile workplace.
• Log defects, track them to closure, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to improving test processes and automation coverage.

Required Skills




• Strong experience in API testing and automation.
• Basic to moderate experience in mobile testing; automation experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of agile workflows and testing lifecycle.
• Ability to analyse issues, debug failures, and work on root-cause identification.

Good to Have
• CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, k6) is a bonus.
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts and applications

Key Responsibilities
1. To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To track test coverage, defect density, other relevant metrics, and publish progress reports.
5. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
