Job Description:
We are hiring- Cath Lab Scrub Nurse
Location: Location : Sabine Hospital & Research Centre Pvt.Ltd, Cherkala, Kasaragod.

The Cath Lab Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe and high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The nurse assists cardiologists before, during, and after procedures while maintaining patient safety and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Assess patients' condition, obtain medical history, and verify informed consent.
- Assist cardiologists during angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency drugs as prescribed.
- Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment while ensuring radiation safety.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention protocols.
- Identify and respond promptly to emergencies such as arrhythmias or cardiac arrest.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring and patient education.
- Document nursing care, medications,



and procedure details accurately.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of Cath Lab instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with a valid Nursing Council registration.
- Cath Lab experience preferred.

Skills:

- Knowledge of cardiac procedures and emergency care.
- Strong ECG monitoring and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Valuable documentation and time management skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and radiation safety protocols.

Salary should be based on interview performance & experience . Should be fixed at the time of interview
