Position Overview

Talent Craft India is looking for a passionate and experienced Chess Coach to provide high-quality online chess coaching for students aged 5 to 18 years. The ideal candidate should have strong chess knowledge, excellent coaching abilities, and the passion to help young learners improve their chess skills while developing logical thinking, concentration, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct live online chess coaching sessions for individual and small-group classes.
- Teach students from beginner to advanced levels using structured lesson plans.
- Coach students in chess fundamentals, tactics, strategy, opening principles, middlegame planning, and endgame techniques.
- Analyze games and provide personalized feedback to improve performance.
- Assign puzzles, practice games, and homework to reinforce learning.
- Track student progress and maintain performance records.
- Prepare students for internal, national, and international chess tournaments, where applicable.
- Foster an engaging, supportive, and disciplined online learning environment.
- Coordinate with the Operations Team regarding class schedules, attendance, and student progress.
- Participate in coach meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).




- Minimum 1 year of experience in chess coaching or teaching.
- Strong understanding of chess tactics, strategy, openings, middlegame, and endgame concepts.
- Experience coaching children is preferred.
- FIDE rating, coaching certification, or tournament experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar online teaching platforms.
- Reliable laptop or desktop, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection.

Working Hours

- Coaching sessions will be assigned based on student enrollments and coach availability.
- Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the number of coaching sessions assigned.
