Job Description: Digital Transformation Manager
Position: Digital Transformation Manager
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Location: Delhi
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the overhaul, optimization, and steady-state functioning of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) systems across the organisation. The role will be responsible for end-to-end management and implementation of all digital transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration between the various functions, and supporting analytical and research operations through effective digital data management.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in digital transformation projects, strong stakeholder management skills, and excellent technical execution skills related to data migration, data warehousing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and systems validation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects, including vendor identification, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation steady-state functioning.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into system solutions.
3. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
4. Manage and coordinate between the internal IT team, external consultants, vendors, and system integrators.
5. Ensure successful adoption of ERP, CRM, and LIMS systems through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
6. Drive process standardization and automation across departments.
7. Support integration of ERP system with laboratory and research management systems.
8. Ensure Institute-wide accurate flow of financial data, sample information, inventory data, procurement records,
and project-related information across the systems.
9. Design and manage data migration strategies between existing ERP and LIMS platforms, and the future-state platforms.
10. Analyze, cleanse, map, validate, and reconcile data during migration activities.
11. Ensure data integrity, traceability, compliance, and audit readiness throughout migration and integration processes.
12. Support laboratory digitization initiatives and system validation activities after the initial implementation.
13. Establish system governance, data management standards, and data security measures for all IT platforms.
14. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
15. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
16. Design, develop, and deploy dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to track project and system performance.
17. Lead periodic system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from reputed university.
2. Master's degree in computer science or data science preferred.
3. 6–10 years of skilled IT experience.
4. Proven experience in managing implementation of ERP, CRM, and/or LIMS projects.
5. Professional experience in Research & Development or Analytical Laboratory domains is preferred.
6. Oracle ERP Cloud Certification or similar certification preferred.
Success Criteria
The Digital Transformation Implementation Manager will be expected to:
1. Successfully implement and optimize ERP, LIMS, and CRM systems across the organization.
2. Ensure seamless integration between ERP, CRM, and LIMS platforms.
3. Deliver accurate and compliant data migration from existing ERP to new ERP system.
4. Improve operational efficiency, reporting, and data visibility across all functions.
5. Drive user adoption and maximize return on technology investments.
