Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at Tredence, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making within the retail domain by providing deep domain specialization and actionable insights. Success in this role means delivering high-impact analytical solutions that directly influence client strategies and operational improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate complex data into business value. This role is vital to advancing our mission of enabling last mile adoption of analytics in retail environments.

What will your role look like?

- Analyze large and complex retail datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.

- Develop and present insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support strategic decision making.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on analytical objectives.

- Apply domain expertise to interpret data within the retail context, enhancing the relevance and impact of insights.

- Support the implementation and adoption of analytics solutions by ensuring clarity and accessibility of insights.





- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics methodologies and processes.

You will need

- Possess a BE/BTech degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.

- Bring 5–9 years of professional experience specializing in retail analytics or related domain expertise.

- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization tools.

- Exhibit excellent communication skills to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.

- Utilize domain specialization to provide contextually relevant insights that align with retail business objectives.

Good to Have Skills

- Have experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.

- Understand advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, or machine learning applications in retail.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data querying and analysis.

- Possess knowledge of retail operations, supply chain, merchandising, or customer behavior analytics.

- Hold certifications related to data analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
