Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Chartered Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements for the farm and hospitality business. Typical responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating payroll, monitoring budgets, and preparing cash flow forecasts to support business decisions. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements, including filing returns and supporting audits. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with management to analyze financial performance,



identify cost optimization opportunities, support investment decisions related to farmland and resort amenities, and implement internal controls to safeguard assets. The role may also include coordinating with external auditors, advisors, and banks, and preparing financial reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in taxation and regulatory compliance, including direct and indirect taxes, filings, and liaison with authorities.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Ability to manage day-to-day finance operations such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Comfort with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of financial models and data analysis tools.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA or equivalent) with relevant professional certification and membership.
- Prior experience in hospitality, agriculture, real estate, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Minimum 3 years experience.
