Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Chartered Accountant will manage and execute audit engagements, including issuer audits and internal audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, performing detailed financial analyses, testing internal controls and systems, and documenting working papers and audit findings. The role involves supporting forensic accounting and investigative assignments, assisting with cross-border taxation and financial due diligence, and contributing to management consulting projects. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact with clients to understand their business and risks,



and contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives within the firm.
Qualifications

- Strong technical accounting and auditing skills, including financial statement preparation, audit planning and execution, and knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, Indian GAAP, and applicable regulatory frameworks).
- Experience or interest in forensic accounting, investigations, internal controls review, and systems audit, with the ability to analyze data for irregularities and control gaps.
- Exposure to or understanding of cross-border taxation, financial due diligence, and management consulting principles, with the ability to interpret complex financial and tax information.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets and complex financial structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, present findings to stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment, manage multiple assignments, and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent recognized accounting credential; additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CISA, CIA, or forensic accounting certifications) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in audit, assurance, or advisory services at a skilled services or consulting firm; exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional engagements is beneficial.
