Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle (Primary) and PostgreSQL (Secondary) databases.
• Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, Clusterware, Data Guard, and PostgreSQL Streaming Replication.
• Manage backup and recovery activities using RMAN, Data Pump, and PostgreSQL backup utilities.
• Perform database cloning, migrations, patching, and version upgrades.
• Monitor and tune database performance, SQL queries, and database objects.
• Support HA/DR implementations and replication environments, including GoldenGate (preferred).
• Develop and maintain Shell/PowerShell scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Implement database security, encryption, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot database incidents and ensure system availability and reliability.
