Role Overview:

Implementation, and management of enterprise-wide business applications, including ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and related corporate systems. The role involves driving application modernization, process digitization, integration, and global rollouts to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. The incumbent will serve as the bridge between business functions and technology, ensuring applications deliver value, improve efficiency, and support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Strategy & Roadmap

- Develop and execute the applications roadmap covering ERP, MES, CRM, HRMS, PLM, and other enterprise platforms.
- Align application strategy with business transformation, Industry 4.0, and digital initiatives.
- Standardize and harmonize processes across business units and geographies.
- ERP & MES Management
- Lead ERP lifecycle management (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) including design, implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Manage MES applications to support shop-floor operations, production planning, traceability, and integration with OT systems.
- Ensure seamless integration between ERPMESPLM and manufacturing automation systems.

Application Delivery & Support

- Oversee application development, configuration, and customization.
- Establish change management, release management, and testing frameworks for reliable rollouts.
- Ensure 24/7 availability, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery for business-critical applications.
- Drive adoption of low-code/no-code platforms for faster delivery of business solutions.

Business Collaboration

- Partner with business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, Sales) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.




- Facilitate business process re-engineering to improve efficiency and productivity through technology.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on application capability and digital transformation.

Governance, Security & Compliance

- Ensure applications comply with corporate IT policies, ISMS, data security, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Information Security and Audit teams for role-based access control, audit trails, and compliance reporting.
- Support statutory, financial, and industry audits.

Leadership & Vendor Management

- Lead and mentor a team of ERP, MES, and application specialists.
- Manage relationships with ERP/MES vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure SLA adherence.
- Drive cost optimization and value delivery from vendors and system integrators.

Qualifications & Experience

- BE/B.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Systems. Others please don't apply.
- 18-25 years of experience in ERP, MES, and business applications, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of large-scale ERP rollouts, MES implementations, and application integrations in manufacturing enterprises.
- Strong expertise in business processes across Finance, SCM, Production, HR, and Quality.
- Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, middleware, EDI, IIoT platforms).
- Certifications preferred: SAP/Oracle/Microsoft ERP certifications, PMP/Prince2, ITIL.
