Job Purpose:

Build, publish, and secure APIs (cloud-native microservices).

Work across enterprise and environments for a large-scale program.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop cloud-native microservices using DDD & TDD architecture principles with REST API development.

Deliver in an agile development process within a DevSecOps environment.

Design performant, resilient, and highly available services using sound principles of application, data, and infrastructure.

Create, maintain, test, and debug the entire back end of an application or system, interacting with other engineering and testing teams.

Translate user stories into technical solutions that perform at large scale.

Design, develop, test, and implement services to support business functions.

Implement appropriate design patterns of a services-oriented architecture: Saga, CB, CQRS, event-driven.

Adopt best practices for reliability (HA, fault tolerance), scalability (load balancing, partitioning, caching), and consistency (timeouts, retries, pessimistic locking).

Deploy deliverables in cloud environments with advanced monitoring and debugging/tracing capabilities.





Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related area.

Key Skills:

Architecture, Cloud Native Development, Agile Practice, Microservices, API Gateway.

Knowledge in development of RESTful web services using technologies like Java, GoLang, Spring Boot, Nodejs.

Knowledge in developing with middleware, streaming, and database technologies like Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB.

Experienced in TDD/ADD and automation testing with Junits, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Jasmin, KarmaRunner, Blazemeter/JMeter.

Knowledge of cloud scaling and containerization (K8S, containers).

Experience in implementing service mesh infrastructure layer.

Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Java, HTML5, and CSS3.

Experience Required:

5 - 10 years of experience in design and development across multiple platforms and functional domains.

3+ years of experience as a developer in building and consuming cloud-native microservices using agile methodology (financial domain preferred).

Major Stakeholders:

Internal: Engineering Leads, Product Owner, Business domain experts, IT audit, BTG Unit heads.

External: Partners, prospective suppliers.
