Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to realize an effective, scalable architecture for the platform.
- Work with various software development tools
- Model database architecture for performance and scalability
- Develop appropriate web-based APIs for related systems.
- Participate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance process.
- Fully participate in a scrum-based, agile development team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience of developing mobile applications for iOS
- Experience with Swift design and development
- Familiarity with developing and integrating RESTful services
- Experience with unit testing.
- Experience with user testing and direct QA,
or a desire and willingness to interact directly with users to solve issues.
- Familiar with GIT
- You have at least 2 active applications available for download from the iOS App Store.
- Ability to work in a diverse technical environment (Java, JavaScript, Android)
- Experience with Agile software development
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are intimately familiar with iOS APIs for graphics, multi-media, networking, and location services.
- You have a solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle and OO principles.
Added Advantage
- Experience with geofencing and Google maps
- Any experience with non-mobile technologies - Python, Javascript, HTML, whatever!
- Experience with Objective-C and
- Experience with Agile methodology.
