- Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java (minimum 7+ years of experience) with hands-on experience using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
- Frontend Expertise: Solid proficiency in React (minimum 2+ years of experience) utilizing up-to-date extensions (.tsx / .jsx).
- API & Data Design: Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and a strong understanding of data integration patterns and ETL processes.
- Testing Standards: Proficient in writing unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, or Enzyme.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities alongside strong communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have :
- Cloud Platforms:
Experience working with alternative major cloud ecosystems like AWS or Azure.
- DevOps & Containers: Practical knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and updating/configuring CI/CD pipelines.
- Stream Processing: Familiarity with real-time stream processing systems (e.g., Kafka Streams, Apache Beam).
- Architecture Trends: Exposure to modern Serverless development and core data modeling/warehousing concepts.
- Prior exposure to GPC ecosystem or similar enterprise retail/pricing environments is a plus.
- Ability to work inIndia–Australia over lap hours (start ~8 a.m. IST) to support APAC/Repco time zone.
