We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining innovative software applications that meet customer needs. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment, with a specific focus on Master Data Management (MDM) SaaS solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-stack engineer who can develop all components of software, including user interfaces and server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to deeply understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions
- Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (such as Agile), and technologies
- Assess software application and service requirements to determine the most suitable technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies
- Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of applications
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, architects, and stakeholders
- Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational vision, industry regulations, and market best practices
- Continuously improve application performance and optimize systems by implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Apply programming best practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization techniques
- Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces that enhance user experience
- Develop and maintain back-end applications such as APIs and microservices using server-side languages
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver innovative solutions, monitoring and participating in solutions for new stack layers
- Business Entity Modeling:



Design and configure Business Entities, Relationships, and Field Groups within MDM SaaS Multidomain/C360 applications
- Cost-Optimized Design: Design data models and integration patterns with a focus on cost-efficiency, optimizing Informatica Processing Units (IPUs) consumption and managing Managed Record limits through efficient data filtering and archival strategies
- AI-Powered Match & Merge: Configure and tune match models using CLAIRE and declarative rules; define survivorship and trust rules to ensure a Golden Record
- Ingestion & Integration: Build and manage data pipelines using CDI (Batch) and CAI (Real-time), selecting cost-effective integration patterns based on business latency requirements
- Data Quality: Implement Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) rules for profiling and cleansing, ensuring only high-value data is mastered to control SaaS licensing costs
- Legacy Mapping: Analyze legacy IBM MDM data models and map them to Informatica SaaS Business Entity structures
- Workflow & Governance: Set up change request processes and approval workflows within the SaaS environment
- API Management: Develop and consume REST APIs for data synchronization, ensuring efficient API call volume to prevent unnecessary overhead

Required Qualifications
- Experience Level: Engineer 3 equivalent with 6+ years in IT and 4+ years in software development
- Technical Skills:
- Practical experience in 2 coding languages OR advanced proficiency in 1 language
- Proficiency in Java
- Strong knowledge of SaaS architecture and development
- Hands-on experience with MDM (Master Data Management) platforms and solutions

- Demonstrated experience with software design patterns and architecture principles
- Strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices




- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in designing and consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of security best practices including encryption and data protection
- Experience with database design and optimization

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Informatica platforms (CDI, CAI, Cloud Data Quality, CLAIRE)
- Experience with IBM MDM or similar legacy MDM systems
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes
- Understanding of cost optimization in cloud-based SaaS environments
- Experience with workflow automation and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of data quality management and profiling tools

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
