Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant with 4–8 years of SAP implementation and support experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP RAR, revenue recognition processes, and integration with SAP SD, FI, BRIM, and S/4HANA. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end RAR solutions, including implementation, configuration, enhancements, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and implement SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP RAR solutions.
- Configure Revenue Accounting Contracts (RAC), Performance Obligations (POB), Revenue Contracts, and Revenue Recognition processes.
- Work on end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Integrate SAP RAR with SAP SD, FI/CO, BRIM (CI, CC, SOM), and SAP S/4HANA modules.
- Configure Revenue Accounting Items (RAI), POB determination, contract modifications, and revenue postings.
- Support month-end and year-end revenue recognition activities.
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and production issue resolution.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
- Develop functional documentation, configuration guides, and user training materials.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.





Required Skills

- 3–8 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance.
- Experience in SAP RAR configuration and business process design.
- Hands-on experience with Revenue Accounting Items (RAI), Revenue Accounting Contracts (RAC), Performance Obligations (POB), Contract Modifications, and Revenue Posting.
- Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD, FI/CO, and SAP BRIM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA RAR implementations or migration projects.
- Ability to prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and work closely with technical teams.
- Experience in production support, enhancements, and incident management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP BRIM environments (Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, Subscription Order Management).
- Knowledge of SAP FICA and Revenue Management processes.
- Experience with interfaces using IDocs, APIs, or middleware platforms.
- SAP RAR or SAP S/4HANA certification is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodologies.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related discipline.
