About Us Founded in 2010 offers progressive K-12 education through CBSE ICSE and Cambridge IGCSE curricula emphasising experiential learning Alongside Ekya Schools our chain of deliver an extensive pre-university program affiliated with the Karnataka Pre-University Board offering a rigorous academic curriculum and a well-rounded learning experience Drawing from the rich legacy of the we nurture lifelong learners equipped to thrive in a dynamic and evolving world Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Content Specialist with a strong content background to manage and enhance our school s digital presence This role bridges technology and communication supporting the creation development and maintenance of Ekya School websites across our brands and ensuring that content is accurate engaging and accessible to students parents and staff Key Responsibilities Web Development Maintenance Build update and maintain school websites using a CMS e g WordPress Finalsite Blackbaud or SchoolMessenger Ensure websites are mobile-friendly accessible ADA compliant and aligned with branding guidelines Manage site structure navigation and user experience for ease of access across stakeholder groups Implement basic HTML CSS updates and troubleshoot front-end issues Content Management Create edit and publish timely content including news updates event pages newsletters and announcements Collaborate with design marketing admissions and technical teams to support campaigns and recent launches Monitor website performance and suggest improvements to content structure and layout Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated or underperforming content Ensure all web content complies with accessibility standards and brand guidelines Digital Optimization Accessibility Apply basic SEO best practices to enhance visibility of school content Ensure content meets web accessibility standards WCAG Monitor website analytics and make data-informed recommendations for improvement Collaboration Support Support school events with digital assets web banners registration pages etc Key Skills Competencies Proficiency with CMS platforms e g WordPress Joomla Sitecore Solid understanding of SEO best practices Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills Familiarity with basic HTML CSS is a plus Experience with analytics tools e g Google Analytics SEMrush Ahrefs is an advantage Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Web Development Communications Marketing Digital Media or a related field 2-4 years of experience in web development and or content management experience in education preferred Assist with email newsletters digital flyers and other online communications Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 700 000 00 - 800 000 00 per year Benefits Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
