Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled System Validation Engineer Infotainment / Telematics with 2 - 4 years of experience in automotive system validation and testing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating automotive Infotainment and/or Telematics ECUs, testing connected vehicle features, analyzing CAN communication, and executing functional and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform system validation and functional testing of Automotive Infotainment and Telematics ECUs.
- Validate Infotainment features such as:

1. USB
2. Bluetooth
3. Wi-Fi
4. Audio/Video
5. Radio
6. eMMC
7. Navigation

- Validate Telematics features including:

1. GPS/GNSS
2. LTE/4G/5G Connectivity
3. eCall / bCall
4. OTA (Over-the-Air) Updates
5. Remote Vehicle Functions
6. Vehicle Tracking

- Analyze and debug CAN communication using CANoe and CANalyzer.
- Execute manual and automated test cases based on system requirements.
- Perform ECU-level functional and integration testing.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using Linux tools.
- Track defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
- Perform smoke, regression, integration, and release validation testing.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test execution,



and defect management activities.
- Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation.

Required Skills

- 2 - 4 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment and/or Telematics Validation.

- Hands-on experience with:
- CANoe
- CANalyzer
- JIRA
- CAPL(Preferred)

- Positive understanding of:
- CAN Communication
- ECU Architecture
- Automotive Embedded Systems
- SDLC/STLC

- Experience in validating:
- USB
- Bluetooth
- Wi-Fi
- Audio/Video
- GPS
- OTA
- LTE/4G Connectivity
- eMMC

- Good knowledge of:
- Linux
- Python
- Basic C/C++ (Preferred)
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Automotive Diagnostics (UDS).
- Experience with CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet.
- Knowledge of Android-based Infotainment or Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Experience with ADB, Logcat, and Linux log analysis.
- Automation scripting using Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and ASPICE processes.

Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Candidate Preference

- Candidates currently residing in Tamil Nadu will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days are preferred.
