Job Description:

We are seeking
a skilled Principal Risk Consultant with 10+ years of experience in financial
services to support risk monitoring, analysis, and decision-making through
data-driven insights. This hands-on and lead role focuses on analytical
problem-solving, advanced SQL-based analysis, and development of scalable
reporting and dashboards using Power BI and mentoring junior team members. The
role involves close collaboration with Risk, Product, Operations, and
Compliance teams to identify risk drivers, improve controls, and strengthen
overall portfolio performance across digital financial products.?

Responsibilities:

? ????? Perform risk
analytics and reporting to support portfolio monitoring and risk strategy
execution.

? ????? Analyze large
and complex datasets using advanced SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and root
causes impacting risk outcomes.

? ????? Design,
develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track key risk
metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.

? ????? Conduct
analytical deep dives across areas such as transaction risk, customer behavior,
onboarding risk, underwriting performance, fraud trends and rule monitoring.

? ????? Evaluate the
impact of risk frameworks on operational losses and customer experience.

? ????? Partner with
cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous business problems into
structured analytical solutions.

? ????? Present
insights, narratives, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders to
influence risk decisions.

? ????? Contribute to
the enhancement of risk frameworks, metrics, monitoring processes, and




governance standards.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to internal risk,
compliance, and reporting requirements.

Skills:

Technical
Requirements:

? ????? Bachelor?s or
Master?s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science,
Engineering, or a related field.

? ????? 5+ years of
experience in Risk Analytics or related analytics roles within Financial
Services, FinTech, Payments, or Banking.

? ????? Solid
understanding of risk concepts, metrics, and lifecycle across financial
products.

? ????? Advanced
proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance
optimization).

? ????? Hands-on
experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard
development.

? ????? Strong
problem-solving, analytical thinking, and independent execution capabilities.

? ????? Experience
working with large datasets and converting analytical insights into business
actions.

? ????? Excellent
communication, stakeholder management and team management skills.

Preferred
Qualifications:

? ????? Exposure to
fraud risk, credit risk, operational risk, or compliance-related analytics.

? ????? Experience
with digital products, wallets, payments, or merchant/customer platforms.

? ????? Familiarity
with data automation, ETL processes, or scripting languages (e.g., Python).
