Job Summary:

The Fundraising and Donor Management Officer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify and raise funds, build donor relationships, and ensure long-term financial sustainability for the organization. This role includes researching potential funding opportunities, writing proposals, planning donor engagement campaigns, and maintaining donor records.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Fundraising Strategy & Execution

- Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue institutional, corporate, and individual funding opportunities.
- Write grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports tailored to each donor's interests and requirements.
- Coordinate and support fundraising events (online and offline).
- Track and report fundraising targets and outcomes regularly.

II. Donor Management- Stewardship

- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors - a donor stewardship
- Develop and manage donor segmentation and communication strategies for various donor categories (e.g., major donors, recurring donors, one-time donors).
- Manage donor communications

III. Database and Reporting





- Maintain and update donor recordsRole & responsibilities

Analyze donor trends and provide insights for improved donor engagement and retention.

IV. Donor Communication & Outreach Collateral Development

- Work closely with program, communication, and finance teams to gather information and data needed for proposals and reports.
- Create and update outreach and communication materials
- Represent the organization at fundraising events and donor meetings as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Communications, Development Studies, Business, Social Work, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, CSR partnerships, or nonprofit communications.
- Proven success in writing grants and securing funds from diverse donor sources.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills (English required; regional language a plus).
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, Canva, AI tools.
- Passion for social impact and alignment with the organization's mission and values.
