We are seeking highly experienced z/OS Experts with 10+ years of hands-on z/OS experience to support a strategic enterprise initiative focused on secure AI adoption within IBM Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in IBM z/OS internals, Catalog Management, USS/OMVS, USS Security and experience in z/OS and ISV software installations. Advanced testing expertise, and programming experience in REXX and Python are essential. The role involves validating AI security controls, designing secure testing environments, implementing monitoring and forensic capabilities, and providing technical expertise in z/OS systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Validate AI fencing controls through adversarial prompt testing across AI releases.
- Establish alerting mechanisms and comprehensive audit trails for AI-assisted activities.
- Design and implement a dedicated lab workplace for disruptive AI testing using fully privileged user access.
- Conduct validation testing for non-privileged users performing scanning and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
- Ensure AI fencing controls effectively balance operational usability with security and risk protection.
- Implement AI fencing controls across development, testing, and production environments using sanitized testing approaches.
- Deploy monitoring, alerting, logging, and forensic capabilities to detect and investigate AI misbehaviour.
- Assess GenieZ production solution readiness and validate all implementation prerequisites.
- Provide technical advisory and implementation support for secure AI adoption and operationalization within enterprise z/OS environments.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 10 years of relevant z/OS experience.
- Overall 12+ years of IT experience.
- Deep expertise in IBM z/OS internals.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Catalog Management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong experience with USS/OMVS and USS Security.
- Hands-on experience with z/OS installation, configuration, maintenance, and ISV software installations.
- Advanced testing expertise in designing tests for functionality, robustness, and performance.
- Programming experience in REXX and Python.
