Job Summary

We are seeking a New Product Development Engineer with strong technical and project management skills to drive the development of recent products from concept to customer approval. The role requires expertise in engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality systems, along with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and interact with global customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Review drawing feasibility and conduct design reviews with project teams for new products.
- Prepare and execute new product timing plans, ensuring resource availability.
- Develop process flows and routers during the feasibility stage.
- Verify design and readiness of tools, gauges, and fixtures for new products.
- Prepare PFD, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Create and maintain APQP & PPAP documentation.




- Interact with overseas customers via conference calls to address technical needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in NPD until customer approval is obtained.
- Analyse CMM reports and recommend necessary corrections.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of NPD activities and meet delivery timelines.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Ability to manage projects from concept to completion with effective planning.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Creative, innovative, and customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 requirements and clauses.
- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in handling automotive customers is an advantage.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- well versed with CMM Reports and 3d Modelling
- Solid works& simulation softwares experience
