Job Summary

[Responsibilities]

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based automation testing frameworks
- Validate new software/firmware releases on target devices using the latest automated test suites
- Build and optimize multiprocessing or distributed services for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware partners to integrate golden devices into the automation test environment
- Analyze and triage issues related to video streaming products, including Pentanol service debugging
- Develop well-structured, testable, and maintainable backend systems or services
- Work with global cross-functional teams to align testing strategies and implement automation infrastructure
- Implement and manage concurrent processing using Python multithreading/multiprocessing techniques
- Design and maintain automated test pipelines with transparent reporting and analysis

[Requirements and Skills]

- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer ,Software Engineer in test or Backend Engineer
- Solid understanding of concurrent programming, including multithreading and multiprocessing in Python
- Hands-on experience building or deploying automation testing infrastructure
- Proficient in Unix/Linux systems and working in CLI environments
- Familiarity with video streaming systems and related debugging/troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), and in-memory datastores (e.g., Redis)
- Ability to work independently, deliver end-to-end tasks, and document requirements/specifications clearly

[Nice to have]

- Experience with distributed systems or high-performance backend architecture
- Experience in Raspberry Pi or other Single-board Computer development and integration
- Experience designing or maintaining CI/CD test pipelines is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With The Client And Team To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Highlighting Performance Concerns And Inconsistencies While Preparing Automated Test Scripts Using Python And Relevant Testing Frameworks.
2.



Develop And Continuously Improve Automated Tests As New System Features And Enhancements Are Introduced, Creating Detailed Work Plans, And Monitoring The Work Schedule To Ensure Timely Delivery That Meets Defined Quality Standards.
3. Design And Implement A Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Framework Using Python, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Maintain Accurate Test Data, And Generate Status Reports To Minimize Project Risks And Facilitate Timely Resolution Of Escalations.
4. Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Skills In Python-Based Automation, And Increasing Overall Team Productivity.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Python Programming And Experience In Test Automation Frameworks.
2. Familiarity With Testing Tools And Technologies Such As Selenium, Pytest, Or Similar.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Testing Methodologies And Processes.
4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Priorities.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester (Cat).
