Job Title: Video Editor

About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor who can turn around high-quality edits quickly without compromising on polish. You'll be handling a mix of corporate, product, and social-first content, so speed, adaptability, and an eye for pacing matter just as much as technical skill.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit video content across formats: product demos, event coverage, brand films, and short-form social content
- Create and edit Instagram/YouTube Reels, Shorts, and other social-first video content optimized for engagement
- Work with tight turnaround times without sacrificing output quality
- Sync footage with music, sound effects, voiceovers, and captions
- Color correct and color grade footage for visual consistency across platforms
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, and basic animations where needed
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and version control efficiently
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to align video output with brand guidelines
- Stay updated on social media trends, transitions, and editing styles relevant to Reels/Shorts

Requirements

- 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing (agency, in-house, or freelance)
- Hands-on experience creating and editing Reels or short-form content for social media platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and CapCut knowledge is a plus)




- Strong sense of pacing, timing, and storytelling through edits
- Ability to work fast under deadlines without losing attention to detail
- Basic understanding of aspect ratios, safe zones, and platform-specific specs (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating past work, especially social media content

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of sound design or audio cleanup
- Experience with motion graphics or simple 2D animation
- Familiarity with content calendars and quick-turnaround content workflows
