The Digital Platforms Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the enhancement of the day-to-day management of the core systems in our learning technologies ecosystem to ensure that they are enabling the very best content to be developed and delivered in the most productive way. This role isn’t simply an LMS sysadmin one, it is about being part of the team that are defining the digital learning experience all employees receive. It is also about maximising return on investment through meaningful data insights, spotting trends and highlighting areas for improvement.
Reporting to the Digital Learning Platforms Manager you will build trusted advisor relationships with the Design Team, Learning Business Partners, Learning Managers and Leadership & Executive Development Team. You will also work very closely with other KBS teams – IT, Digital Workplace etc to support wider transformation activities. Using your considerable knowledge and experience of the learning technologies, you will support in translating your client’s business needs into realistic and achievable plans that reflect the Learning Strategy and deliver impact. It’s a fast paced and changing environment.
•Leading the development and management of UK Learning's data and insights capability.•Ensuring system availability through active monitoring and close liaison with IT support.•Administration of system users, groups, policies.•Support in the maintenance of learning assets,
pathways and plans.•Maintaining role skills analysis.•Maintaining and monitoring people data feed and business logic to enable personalisation of learning content.•Ensure features are fully utilised where appropriate and identify areas where technical debt can be reduced.•Identify potential integrations with other systems to bring the very content to our learners.•Ensuring compliance and providing insights with InfoSec and Risk requirements such as FRC, ISQM1 and QC1000.•Data cleansing (LMS, Degreed and Kaltura platforms).•Kaltura Virtual Classroom platform – Producer support•Video editing support.•Digital platform upskilling of UK Learning, Audit DPP and the KLS Service Centre.

••Enable teams to develop meaningful management information for learning consumption and quality/risk purposes and to measure the effectiveness of learning and support the achievement of its goals.•Provide guidance on appropriate learning technologies to deliver pathways, plans, curriculum etc.•Enable teams to conduct, manage and measure the impact of learning campaigns.•Maintain relationship with Global Learning Support teams.•Participate in global working groups to ensure UK requirements are always adequately captured.•Stay abreast of technology and industry trends.•Work closely with the Learning Operation team to ensure opportunities for process improvement are realised.
Qualifications
Essentials Skills and Experience
•Significant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or insight-focused roles.•Experience of Learning Management Systems, Learning Experience Platforms, Video Hosting and other content delivery systems such as Content Management System.•Demonstrable understanding of how learning technology can enable transformational learning strategy.•Strong data analytic skills.•The ability to role model collaboration, and consult confidently, effectively and independently with senior levels of the organisation.
•Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to address diverse organisational stakeholders at all levels.
